$3 To Park at the LRT?

So, if you park and ride to go to work....

$3 a day, plus an adult transit pass = $135 a month. And this will get people to use public transit more how?

$3 to park, plus $5 return trip = $8 to go to the game. Looks like I'm done taking the LRT to the game.

Never mind the Albertan "I'm driving my own damn vehicle" mindset....

    Wow.
"This year, we did what we were supposed to do. We fought as a team. We fought as a team. And the fact is, we gotta go back and go to work, to make sure we finish this next time. That's all we gotta do. This right here makes us stronger. Let's understand who we are as a team. Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.

You guys have to get up to get to your fridge? That's old school, I don't even have to rotate my chair.

The chair is facing the 45" HD TV that I have in my bedroom, and it can recline...not quite a lazy boy chair, but a footrest makes it close enough.

Oh, and my laptop is on the desk right beside my fridge and chair.

                          And again I say...echo that.

This is ridiculous. They do this for only $400k/year? How desperate are they?

Not that it especially affects me in the southwest...but it's still ridiculous.

Maybe if they supplied security for your vehicle (say a gated parking lot or something) it would be halfways ok but paying for nothing is just stupid.

I tried LRT for the first game of the year but found that too much of a gong show so for the other games i went to drove to the Burns parking lot and took the bus they ran to and from the stadium there.

This city just shows how dumb they are. They are alwats wanting to get more people taking public transit and then they decide to put in something like this. I wonder just how many people will stop using LRT and just drive if they have to pay now to park.
