Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF AND POST A PICTURE!

Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

I was born here. But I just grew up smarter than the average folk in Sask.

Just actually found out about this site today, on a link from the 13thman.com, but this is exactly what I was looking for. You see I'm a die-hard Eskies fan who was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. As you can well imagine, we Eskies fans are slightly outnumbered here in the "Queen" city.

I have been an Edmonton fan since I was 5 years old, when I watched my first CFL game with my Dad, who was (and of course still is) and die hard Eskies fan also.

        What more can I say? : )

Interesting that it was the Riders who moaned and bitched for a salary cap, and since a cap was put in place for them, they only years they've won they broke the salary cap rules.

It's always an "interesting" situation if you're going to meet people who you only know online.

So Muley69 (thanks bud) had the idea that we should get to know each other better by posting a picture. So that's what this is for. If you don't have a picture, at least give us some details about yourself. Your name? What do you do? Married? Kids? etc.

I put this in the Eskimos forum so everyone sees it. I hope to see y'all participating.

            I shall start:

My name is Phil. I'm 22 and a student at Grant Macewan in the BCom transfer program. I hope to transfer to the UofA after next year. I've worked for IBM and Intuit Canada in the tech field but hated it so I decided to go back to school. Right now I'm looking for a part-time job to pay my way through school...

No girlfriend at the moment, although I'm always looking. I live in the Londonderry area with my sister and my dog Payton. I drive a '91 white daytona that used to have a killer sound system until it was jacked. Well, that's a good start. NEXT!

Oh, and here's a really bad picture. This was taken in Brazil, my brother is on the left and I'm on the right. We were on top of the roof of a boat and it was freaking HOT!
My last car was a 91 Daytona ES with a V6 in it, and man did it go like a bat out of hell. A car designed for a 4 cyclinder, with a V6 in it. It was my favourite car.

WOO HOO, a fellow Esks fan here in Regina. Actually it's not so bad. I'm the only Esks fan out of a group of around 7 or 8 of my good buddies. So sometimes I get beer dumped on my head, and sometimes I do the dumping.

You must the other guy in Taylor field wearing a Esks jersey when they come to town.

Actually that's not true, I know a guy personally who is also a die hard Esks fan here in Regina that always wears his jersey. Unless your him.........

I usually sit as close as I can to the Eskimo bench when they are at Taylor Field. I am always dressed to the max in Eskimo gear. But there are actually quite a few of us sitting in that area. There is always this bigger woman who is wearing 70's Eskimo stuff and she is kind of embarrassing but she cheers for the right team anyway. I have yet to have anything thrown or spilled on me.

I have been lucky enough in my life to have the God-given ability to avoid Saskatchewan in its' entirety...Never once have I set foot in Saskatchewan...

Although I am thinking with all the transplants from Sask. here in Alberta we may have to give them something like "Little Regina" or "Saskatoon-Town" down near Chinatown or something...

The only time it has ever happened has been from buddies, and that's expected if you know my buddies. If someone were to do that whom I didn't know I would be pretty offended, but coming from one of my buddy Rider fans, I can let it slide, cuz we beat the Riders more than we lose to 'em.

I've been there once, for the game last October. Man, that was the worst 2nd quarter I've ever seen.

I think I might've glimpsed you, E4L ...before the game, and during (I was in the middle of the lower deck on the high side, with the flag...perhaps you might've seen it after the Esks' 2nd TD).
We're cheering Fight Fight Fight On Eskimos...
