Indeed, Mike got a bonus point by getting BC's score exactly right! Could be a huge factor to decide the pool.

This year's pool has been insanely close. Never seen anything like it. FOUR players have totally realistic shots at winning: Mike with a one-point edge, and then couchspud, cmbuk and eskfan152. With prizes for the top two, this could come down to tie-breaking rules (right now, that favours couchspud). In fact, there's one other person with a mathematical shot: me! But I would need to hit the score precisely, and hope that all four of you get it wrong. That ain't happening.

Well, what a Grey Cup game... and what a year for the pool! Four players had legitimate shots to win it at the end, all within one point of each other. With the upset Argos win, it leads to a last-minute upset in the pool. Going from the lead to fourth place after the conference final, the only player bold enough to picks the Argos among the top four leapfrogs back to first place...

And, the 2022 CFL Pool winner is eskfan152!!

Tied for second place are couchspud and 56Parkies... but, according to the tiebreaking rules, second place goes to couchspud!!

Last year's runner-up cmbuk finishes in 4th place, just two points back. And making a strong late charge but falling just short in 5th place... is me!

In 6th is naf, who had a seemingly unsurmountable lead early in the season. But, it turns out it was surmounted.

Eskfan152 and couchspud, I'll be sending you both PM's to arrange to get you your prizes.

Glen, I tried to change my profile contact. I'm a ludite so may have done nothing. Regardless, as was said during the game ; it's not about the prize,it's about the glory. I'm just thrilled to finish top 5.

Wow! I figured the only way I might have a chance was to pick the underdog Argos and hope that nobody else did!! I can’t believe it actually worked!! Really was a fun year for the pool. It was very tight all year!
