The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed American offensive lineman Joel Figueroa to a two-year contract.
Hope, at the end of the day connects us all, no matter how different we are

Trumaine Washington one of a number of #CFL players now looking at spring football, headed to XFL. Hergy Mayala signing & QB Dakota Prukop to USFL. Colin Kelly another. Darnell Sankey considering it. They won’t be alone. Will make wave 2 of #CFLFA less fruitful

I am thinking that this article that appeared on 3DN might be highlighting a significant disadvantage the CFL has when trying to convince guys to come up here to play rather than the spring leagues down south. To me it wouldn't be such a big deal to allow players to be signed immediately to active NFL rosters once the CFL season is over if it helps with recruiting. Might not apply to the CFL guys currently signing in the spring leagues rather than signing as CFL FAs but has had a big impact on recruiting new guys from what I can tell. I believe CJ mentioned the same issue in a previous interview.

That would take changes for sure to the NFL CBA and maybe to the CFL CBA. For sure the NFL CBA has language that says teams cannot sign CFL players to play immediately after the CFL season ends.

For the 2022 WSF the Lions ran Island Express and Interior Express charters where fans from Vancouver Island, Kamloops and Kelowna could buy a game ticket package that included return transportation from the ferry terminals or those interior locations. With the Lions' 2023 regular season schedule including six games with a Saturday @ 4pm kickoff they have just rolled out 6 game Island Express and Interior Express season ticket packages which include tickets and the same bus transportation. There is youth 17 & under and adult pricing available in all ticket price categories.

Grabbing a beer for $5 at BC Place is now a reality, as the stadium announced a new, more affordable menu that also includes hotdogs and nachos.

However, for fans looking to get their hands on the cheaper treats it might be a bit of a walk. The more affordable refreshments are only available at Dawson’s Hot Dogs stands in sections 201 and 227.

It's a start - hopefully it's successful and sends messages to all the other stadiums (incuding CW of course)

201 and 227 would be at opposite ends of the stadium in the back of the end zones. Probably makes sense for the affordability factor to be placed behind the most economically priced seating.

Noticed Calgary has signed veteran DT-DE Mike Moore. Possible replacement for Shawn Lemon. Was a solid player before us in 2019. We traded him to the Als for Tony Washington.

30# heavier than Lemon who is an edge rusher Moore is most likely slated for a rotational depth role in the middle. Calgary already has their Lemonator replacements in Julien Howsare and James Vaughters. Tack on NAT Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund and they have a nice trio of DEs
