yeah and their 4th stringer Shae Patterson (the one they should be devleoping over Fine/Dolegala for the record) is nicked up as well so it'll be Dolegala/Pipkin to face the lions and bombers twice.....kinda like builiding a barracade out of toothpicks when a tidal wave is coming.Originally posted by Looner View Post

Assuming you mean a chance for Edmonton to make a run, catching Saskatchewan wasn't a concern in my opinion, it was catching all of Calgary, Saskatchewan, Ottawa and Hamilton that would have been the concern.Originally posted by Looner View Post

Frankly at this point I'm not sure there's really any benefit to the Elks making a run even if they could. Likely just prolongs Jones' stay at this point .
Secretly, I'm kind of hoping for an Eastern team crossover this year, as that would be the first time ever and probably would draw attention to the schedule imbalance that was introduced post-Covid. That said, this is the first year I can remember the East having a winning record vs. West team this deep into the seasonLast edited by bone; 08-14-2023, 11:59 AM.
