Ottawa's 3-2 vs. the West including a win vs. Winnipeg, but 0-4 vs. the East To me that's the wildest one.

Frankly at this point I'm not sure there's really any benefit to the Elks making a run even if they could. Likely just prolongs Jones' stay at this point .

Secretly, I'm kind of hoping for an Eastern team crossover this year, as that would be the first time ever and probably would draw attention to the schedule imbalance that was introduced post-Covid. That said, this is the first year I can remember the East having a winning record vs. West team this deep into the season
I'm not happy with Jones either but realistically we have him for another 2 years after this one so we might as well get comfortable with him and he has won in the past. My hope and it really is just a hope, is that the extra 500k in ops cap space we get next year will lead to a better coaching staff, which will lead to more wins.

yeah well they did have win against wpg where the bombers went to sleep with 2.5 minutes left and then beat cgy in OT. They're mid but they're kinda fun to watch tbh. They definately play their hearts out and their O is no joke.

They also had TO on the ropes a couple of times yesterday. I'm hoping Crum can turn into something as he's shown some potential and we need some young blood QB's in this league

Crum was amazing at Kent State he has shown pretty much the same moxie in the pros. Is Massoli done for the year or is it a career ender?

I think I saw a something about there being 20 or more QBs this year to have meaningful snaps in the CFL including something like 19 different starters (and climbing next week with Collaros' and Fines' injurie).

Though it's been due mostly to injuries and such, I think it's really good news for the CFL to get as many reps into these young players as possible in what is looking to be a bit of a throwaway season with more than half the league being below average. This could allow for the next group of QBs to lead this league developing into actual players. It's much more than 2019-2021 where there may have been only 10-13 QBs that got any kind of start at all in any given year.

I think it was an achillies this time, not sure if he's going to return or not

This is where I’m at too, if we bring Dicky back along with a couple more positional coaches and assistants, I think that would go a long ways.

I still like CJ the coach, I’ve soured quite a bit on CJ the GM tho… And I have no idea if Simon could take over those duties in the off-season and have success or not.

I’m not sold on Simon yet. The huge receiver contracts have not helped in a meaningful way with a lot of injuries to those players, has his fingerprints all over them. They’re proving that you don’t build a team around receivers.

The thing is the special teams haven't been that bad this year, so while I wanted Dicky last year, I'm not so sure he helps this group anymore, unless Scheper moves to Defense and Dickie takes on special teams.

I agree but I still think Dicky is one of the best STCs in the league, and Scheper could probably be utilized better ales were on the roster. Craig could take the ACH tag as well.

Dru Brown listed as starting QB this week for Winnipeg.
Hope, at the end of the day connects us all, no matter how different we are

Collaros listed as the #3 so it sounds like he won't be gone to long. Would love to see Brown have another good week as we need more quality starters in the league. Him and Crum are giving me hope that they are around

With Fine out in Sask as well, this should mean we will get the 20th and 21st different starters for this season. I believe this is a great byproduct of the unfortunate injuries. We're now getting good looks at a lot of QBs with some potential to be the next wave of QBs for the CFL.
