That was one hell of a game! I listened to the first half and watched the second. First thing I should mention is that Neilson calls a great game on the radio! So much easier to visualize what’s going on than Morley and Dave. The game itself I kept feeling in the first half like Montreal could not overcome its mistakes like the punt return fumble that led to a bomber td and the goal line stand at the end of the half. To see them come out firing in the second half was great Grey Cup material. I’m really happy for Coach Maas, he seems to have really leveled out as a coach. And about 15 years after the fact, I am happy for Maciocha, he legit built his team and staff in 2 years with uncertain ownership and really shows how hard he’s worked since he failed here. Congrats Alouettes!

Now TSN and Bumber fans can STFU about being a dynasty. I watched the after game panel and I seriously thought they where going to start a gofundme page for the Bombers, it was disgusting how bias they where towards the Bumers. I mean in a over praising sort of way. I looked hard as I expected to see black arm bands on them. Making excuses why they lost instead of credit to Montreal. Guess they where shellshocked. And Milt looked PISSED

Definitely. Montreal was overall the much better team yesterday. The outplayed the Bombers enough to outscore those two major errors that accounted for a 14 point swing. Will be interesting to see what this does to Winnipeg as the talk may start moving from Dynasty to choke jobs. Granted they did have those two wins to start this run so not Buffalo Bills level choke job, but perhaps this puts them more in line with the 00s Alouettes who got to the big game often but often fell short in the final game unless they got some luck/help (ie. 2002, Avery injury and I seem to remember Fleming hurt himself as well limiting his abilities but cant find anything about it online, Saskatchewan 13th man debacle).

Yes a wonderful game. Having two barn burner GC games in a row will do nothing but help the league. Congratulations to the Als.

Brought up by someone else over on the Oilers HF board, but the 3rd and 5 gamble by Fajardo looks eerily familiar to Ray to Mitchell in Grey Cup 2005. Could Maas have had that play stored in his memory bank??

Skip ahead to the 38 minute mark.

I read somewhere that Oliveira will be giving the NFL a shot.

I could see that, might as well give it a go while he's young.

My quick reaction to this short list ; I’d be in favour of looking at Katsantonis , good intensity, fierce tackler. I haven’t watched his cover skills.
