0-7 over a two week span pretty much puts me out to pasture.

All you need is one great week and you'll be back in the fray. I was having a bad streak too until I lucked out last week. I have NO expectation of holding onto the lead. It's anyone's game.

Especially this year. There really doesn't seem to be very many "automatic" results, like we've had over the last 5 years or so where the league was very clearly a 3 tier league equally distributed.

After a dramatic shift last week, the top remains pretty similar this week. Couchspud maintains his one point lead over naf, with bone and eskfan152 in trailing positions. Might even be possible for Hugo and cmbuk to enter the conversation yet! Tough week for a lot of us; upsets seem to be pretty common this year.

          Get your picks in!

Still razor thin at the top, with couchspud holding his one point lead over naf. A group of five players is hanging in there to sstay in the conversation... but at least first place looks to be couch vs naf!

            Make your picks!

I still contend that anyone within 8 points could still take the lead. I've had 4 wrong picks in one week before, expect it again.

...and the lead switches hands again! Naf has regained his lead over couchspud, by a single point. Neck and neck to the finish line, it looks like. Eskfan152, bone, and Hugo are long shots, but still in it.

                Make your picks!

Naf is now up by three points over couchspud! Lots more action to go, but it looks to me like these two will be fighting it out for this year's crown. Seven to eleven points back is a crowd of five people, any of whom could win the bronze medal.

This coming week is the last of the regular season, always hard to predict since some of the games will be meaningless in the standings. Nevertheless, they're vital to the pool. Make your picks, and do so carefully!

Yeah, there's definitely a bunch of games that mean less to certain teams than others, and you have to wonder how much teams that play next week will rest players to avoid injury if this week's game won't change their position in the standings? I submitted my picks for this week a week ago, but now I'm second guessing myself. Then again, if you look at the top 3, we're all tied in terms of guessing the right winners, and the position in the standings has all come down to luck of guessing the scores.

Well, the apparently dull final week of the regular season turned out to have some unexpected twists! A walk-off OT rouge by our phenomenal punter Jake Julien (he'll be in the NFL some day; and no, Suitor, if you knew anything about Julien you would have known that was not a bad decision, nor was it right to use that amazing moment to rant about your bad perception of the rouge rule, which I love). And a gust of wind in Montreal knocks the Riders out of a likely division title --- how CFL is that? And it left a bunch of Rider backups suddenly thrust onto the field against Calgary at the last second.

In the pool, naf has expanded his lead over couchspud to five points. Now, couch has managed to erase a lead this big in a single week before, so I'm not awarding first place just yet. Five players are neck-and-neck-and-neck-and-neck-and-neck for third place.

Divisional semifinals are posted; make your picks! Really looking forward to seeing how VA does this week.

Well, I flip flopped at the last minute on both the Elks and Bombers, and it paid off.

Sooo.... who do you pick to win ? ; the top player in the league or maybe the best defence in the league. Close game or blowout? I always look forward to this level of football.

                              Hey everyone,

Sorry for the delay in getting this week's game entered... Life, with a capital L, got in the way (dealing with a health issue, no worries, I'm fine). The division finals have now been entered, so you've got two days to make your picks!

The update this week: it's a two horse race between naf and couchspud for sure, with naf holding a five point lead. But couchspud has made up a 5 point deficit in one week before, and quite recently. As for third place, I see that the world has finally corrected itself, and I find myself on the podium in third place. The rest of you (and there are a bunch in striking distance) don't have a chance against my superior predictive skills. You may as well not bother.

                              Good luck, everyone!

Out of my mind; back in five minutes.

BTW, folks, in the pool home page you're going to see a "rogue" game, BC vs Sask, to be played on January 1, 1970. I'm pretty sure they didn't play that day, and I have no idea how that game got there. Just ignore it.
