Should be a busy offseason with a search for a new commish. Interesting candidate is one of the office guys for the Chargers who used to be in the CFL head office a few years back. Trying to dig up a name

Re: 2015 CFL Offseason Thread
They said on the pre-game yesterday that he is no longer interested in the job.Originally posted by Diesel View PostShould be a busy offseason with a search for a new commish. They did mention Jon Anselmi, who used to be with MLSE is a candidate. I think that is his name.
Lots of coaching changes too as a bunch of coaches are out in Saskatchewan(Bob Dyce, George Cortez) and Jason Maas will be the OC in Ottawa next year.
Jim Barker may be fired as well.

Re: 2015 CFL Offseason Thread
Very interesting about the Sask coaches. I haven't seen anything about that. Maybe they should shoot a little higher and axe the ones that brought Joseph back. They should have stuck with Sunseri . His stats were not that bad. Maybe Cortez refused to work with a young QB ? Plus Dressler sure ran out of gas after a couple of games. Did Cortez use him properly or were their QB's really that bad ? Anyway it's nice to see a little sheet hitting the fan over there. Looks good on them.Originally posted by Jtuck09 View PostThey said on the pre-game yesterday that he is no longer interested in the job.

Re: 2015 CFL Offseason Thread
It's going to be a very interesting offseason for most teams and while there will be changes made here I see a real sense of stability for the green in gold in terms of we know who our coach is, our QB and hopefully most of the coordinators get another year to improve the team.In Rod we trust

Re: 2015 CFL Offseason Thread
Michael Copeland would be a logical choice. Whoever it is...I hope it's someone who has some background in the game.
Wonder if we'd bring Barker in some football capacity if Toronto let's him go...which they'd be stupid to do in my opinion...Quote from Inquiring Mind:

Btw, I mentioned it in the Grey Cup thread but it was pretty cool to see the ovation that Cohon received when he entered with the Grey Cup. Don't see that for commissioner's of pro sports leagues very often..Quote from Inquiring Mind:

I hope Dickenson leaves Calgary...Originally posted by SandManFan View PostI wonder if Huff goes out a winner and retires from the sidelines. That would elevate Dickenson in Calgary and leave BC looking elsewhere...
But there seems to be a fair bit of talk recently of Huff moving into the GM position strictly for 1-2 years then moving upstairs and Mike Petrie moving into the GM spot...Quote from Inquiring Mind:

I think I read or heard that Dickenson has a clause in his contract that makes him a head coach once Huff retires in Calgary...Originally posted by stamphater View PostI hope Dickenson leaves Calgary...
