Official Esksfans 12th Annual (2016) CFL Pool Thread - With Prizes!
Hey all,
Here we are again, beginning another CFL season, which of course exists in order to provide scores for the CFL Pool, which coincidentally starts on the very same day. This year I will be handing out prizes!
First, I would like to thank glenvb who has volunteered once again to run the Pool. I appreciate that he is willing to do this year in and year out.
Rules
The pool works as follows: pick the winners of the games, and scores. That's it. For every game, you get:
* 2 points for picking the winner.
* a bonus point for getting the exact score for one of the two teams.
* a total of 3 bonus points if you hit the final score precisely for both teams.
The pool will run until the end of the Grey Cup game.
Prizes
It's a lot of fun, and mostly harmless. The top 3 based on total points will receive 1 item of their choosing from the esksfans.com shop: http://www.esksfans.com/forum/shop.php
In the event of a points tie for 3rd place, the first tie breaker is "Wins". If still tied, we will have a random draw or flip a coin or have a 3rd party pick a number between 1 and 10 or whatever silly tie-breaking method I decide.
Access
To get to the pool from the site's main page, click "Forum" on the green menu bar. Then, on the yellow menu bar, click "CFL Pool". From there, you'll figure it out.
Glen has not yet entered the games. Once he does, you will be able to make your predictions.
