1996 WSF There is a youtube video but I was not able to copy the link.

Fans were in to it. Those were the days of hoping for the best but expecting the worst going into Commonwealth and Cal Murphy's last game as a Bomber.

omg thank you for finding that.... I remember being there, then the following week in Calgary in which we beat them on a last second fg. Which iirc lead to the grey cup game against toronto and the "fumble"

Thank you for the link. It remains a dark day in Bomber history.

Interesting that 14,000 made it out to the game. Winnipeg had a similar game against Hamilton in the snow with 12,500 true blue fans showing up for the win. Might have been the year of Mark Braganola. Those are the cool collectable ticket stubs.

96 was a good year once again for the Eskimos. Classic Grey Cup game in Hamilton. Unfortunately the calls did not go your way. The Eddie Brown off the toe catch was a heck of a play. Back to back kickoff returns by Gizmo and Jimmy the Jet had the fans standing as well.

Anyone at the game that Milt Stegall scored the 100 yd td with no time left for the win? Hard to believe he was so open.
