Officially ending the Appolon experiment. Sometimes I wonder how good of a talent evaluator CJ is as he was a game 1 starter in his rookie year, got hurt in that game and then never cracked the starting lineup again. I know Jones finds the odd gem but I think its more of a product of the sheer amount of players he brings through.

For the first time in awhile I think we can legitimately be proud of our team and where we are at, especially offensively. Through we 14 we are:

• #1 in points for per game at 29.6 with Montreal being second at 27.7
• #1 in offensive points with 29.3 per game with Montreal being second at 26.9
• #1 in TDs with 42, 7 more then second place Montreal who has 35
• #1 in offensive TDs with 42, 8 more then second place Montreal who has 34
• #2 in Average yards per game at 377.8 which is second to HAMILTON????? who is at 392.2
• #1 in Frist downs at 290 with BC being second at 275
• 3rd in Offensive plays per game as well as 3rd in average yards per play
• #1 in rushing yards at 117.2 per game with Toronto being second at 112.8
• #2 in rushing attempts at 272, Winnipeg has had 288
• #1 in average Gain per rush at 5.6
• #4 in average gain on 1st down
• #7 in average passing yards per game at 274.7, Hamilton is on top at 322.8 but after them it drops to 290.9
• #3 in pass attempts
• #2 in completions
• #3 in completion percentage
• Tied for #1 in passing TDs
• #2 in passing efficiency
• #3 in 30+ yard completions
• #3 in sacks allowed

Clearly they need to make a change at QB.

At one point a couple of weeks back we were 1st in red zone conversions too, not sure where we’re at as of right now in that department tho.

Exactly, I'm expecting a split with Winnipeg as I don't see them as dominant as previous years and if we can grab the home game our motivation going into the peg will be that we'll leap frog them in the standings.

Yeah, looking at all the microstats for this team, it's unbelievable that standings wise they are still just 7th out of 9 teams when they are top 3 or better in so many major categories. It's amazing how some bad clock management and ill-timed **** ups by a kicker are quite likely the difference between a tough road to make just playoffs vs. well in the mix to be hosting a playoff game.

Sure hope the team comes back with the mentality to kick Winnipeg's ass as a split is still needed particularly with Saskatchewan still having two more games vs. Calgary.

Win the first game to keep that in play, then they have the potential the second game and suddenly a home playoff game seems reachable.

IT was definitely nice to see people in the seats like that. Been a very long time. Also nice that the team came out and gave the big crowd lots to cheer for. Hopefully this is the sign that the bad times are being put behind them.

On a different note, I can't remember a time when the Stamps were that bad at QB. Pretty tough situation to throw a raw rookie in there like that but at the same time, all the talk was how good of an arm the rookie had but he was under throwing guys constantly and it was easy pickings for the DB's.

Dickenson is in full on panic mode because he has never been on a losing team either as a coach or player. It has become obvious that he cannot wear two hats and be successful just as Chris Jones discovered as well.

it looked super full on tv. Some of those people where probably at conesessions etc.
