ya know I'm not going to read this as I can predict what it will say.

Why do you always have to post long winded bull**** any freaking time someone 1. calls you out. or 2. has a different point of view. Why do you feel you have to post paragraphs reiderating you points over and over again, with out accepting that others have different experiences. Its like if its not your way/thoughts than the other people are wrong

its ****ing exhausting trying to respond to you and frankly not worth the time.

If it's too hard for you to read them, then don't read them. Don't comment on my stuff if you don't like what I have to say. No one holds a gun to your head and forces you. It's not that hard.

I would assume MBT gets the start. He threw for almost 500 yards and the offense seemed to move at will so I don't know why you wouldn't start him again. Maybe if he's struggling or the Stamps ramp up the pressure and he's getting hit/rushed a lot, you replace him with Ford.

The big thing I am curious is who starts as kicker. Bede has been lousy and though 1 game, Faithful didn't exactly do himself any favors by missing a very makeable kick quite badly.

Faithful also didn't send any of the ones he made right down the middle. They all seemed to hug the posts one of them even ending up wide by the time it cleared the endzone. .

I went on record last week saying Faithful couldn't be worse. His performance Monday has me re-assessing that mindset.

Add in one of his kickoffs being short and the fact the coach was terrified to have him attempt one from 49 (they wouldn't have hesitated on that with Bede) and I'm in the start Bede camp hoping a 1 game shake up snaps him out of his funk.

I'd probably start Bede as well. They brought him here to be the guy so maybe sitting him out last game was a reset for him.

I won't lie. I don't love seeing Castillo drilling 55+ yard field goals, had a 56 last game and a 60 this year knowing they had him and just cut him.

I hear what you are saying, but even Castillo has only been 7 for 11 between the 40 and 50. Of course that's better than Bede's 50% between the 40 and 50, but just saying he's not automatic either.

That said, it's really crazy to see how many 50+ attempts Castillo has taken and made this year, 9 for 11 beyond the 50 is crazy. 2 for 3 from 60 and beyond is absurd.

It's a 9 team league. IMO I would say the difference between the top teams and the bottom teams is probably not that much player wise. So a couple plays here and there can potentially be the difference between a win and a loss. The last thing a team needs is their kicker missing very makeable kicks as often as Bede has.

100%. I'm convinced a better kicker has us at 5-7 minimum, possibly 6-6 or even 7-5 and challenging for a home playoff game. He was a huge factor in both Ottawa games and last week in Montreal.

All I was saying is that Castillo isn't a pillar of consistency either. He's just been a revelation this year for his long kicks.

What I would do to have a guy like Parades, Whyte, Ward or even Legghio right now. With someone like them we could be in first place right now instead of last. Sad that we had the rights to 1 of them even in our time as the Elks and could easily have had Legghio last year.

Since there was a bunch of back and forth today about the stadium thought this was interesting. At least there's the beginnings of a plan if not actual funding.

Imagine where the team would be if he just repeated his lowest season in Edmonton which was 87%.

how much can they really do without any form of demo. Those rendered pics - the concourse still looks the same ( though clean ) , the bathroom I'd be shocked thats what it'd look like. I could care less about the outside. IMO its the equilvant of lipstick on a pig. Doesn't address the vast size, the distance from the field to the crowd. Those are all pretty much structural. What pics I've seen is minor - CW needs so much more IMO

Cutting Castillo over money last year was dumb. If we were going to lose Whyte (and I think he was going to BC no matter who was coaching), he was about as good a pickup as anyone. Faithfull is a good story and it sounds like he’s a good human too, but it was a clear gamble.

While I applauded Jones at the time for realizing it and jumping on Bede so quickly, I always wondered why Toronto was so quick to release him and move on after the year he had. Liam H or not, I’d have thought there was value there for trade even. Maybe we see why now.

Faithfull didn’t lose the game, so I’d be fine starting him. Despite the argument about his paycheque Bede has underwhelmed.

Maybe Blanchard or someone else will shake out as NFL camps wrap up.

Whyte leaving had nothing to do with us, he wanted to go home and to start working on his post playing career.

I know those are just preliminary renderings so hopefully more is to come but I really hope they don't think putting paint on the walls and nicer tile in the bathrooms will fix the functional problems that make this stadium not up to today's standards. Today's standards IMO are about more space, more options and making the building flow better. Today's buildings have bathrooms and concessions on every floor so the entire stadium doesn't have to converge to one level to go pee. What they need to do to improve that stadium would require major, major structural changes that I am not sure is even possible without significant demolition and MONEY.

Even the distance between the edge of the field and the first row of seats has to be 15-20 yards? The stands need to be a lot closer to the field and preferably steeper so you get better sit lines when sitting but also you aren't so far from the field the high you go up. I just don't know how you do that without demo's the stands.

I totally agree. Castillio is not elite but he's better than Bede and his stats show he is. His career average is 4% higher than Bede's. It was just another example of Jones thinking he is smarter than everyone else and cutting a proven guy to go with a guy who's never played before to save money.

Have some family coming from out of town for the October 5th game vs the Riders so I decided to grab a few extra tickets to the game and was told that the game is almost sold out!!!!!
