I think that’s a bit of a strong statement…

I thought he did a few good things, some things that were improvements from game one, but clearly still a long way to go no doubt.

The problem is, I don't think most fans will be willing to wait 3 yrs. Hervey wasn't here but they have been rebuilding for awhile. They need to start winning some games right away. The new owner is going to be bleeding money with no one going to games.

Completely agree but what other option do we have? If we keep changing GMs, he'll keep changing staff and players and we'll never get out of this cycle.

What is helping me to keep everything in perspective is that the EE played one of the undisputed two best defences in the league this early season. Truly they will face no greater test again in Winnipeg. You become the best by playing the best. Yes you lose initially but what a learning opportunity. When they finally play more average teams I fully expect closer games and positive outcomes.

I don't think Rugamba is well suited to play boundary CB. His best days with BC were when he played SAM. His play there pushed Purifoy back into the secondary. Last year BC moved Rugamba from SAM back to the secondary but I think that was more necessitated by need to find a spot for TJ Lee who seemed to have lost a step when he returned from his achilles injury.

hopefully its one of those situations where they just don't know how long it will take to recover so they throw him on the 6 game.

Could be. Ultimately though this is where it's nice that the team had built up a lot of Canadian depth and had a starting Centre playing guard, so they should be able to hold it together for a bit by filling a guard spot with the best player possible regardless of birth certificate.
