Listening to Hervey yesterday, they seem pretty high on Snyder. I am sure they will probably in another QB or 2 as once you take Ford off the roster, they only have 3 listed. But whoever thy bring in, has to be a guy who has the skillset that the HC and OC think will work for what they want to do as a team and an offensive system. Based on how after his starts at the beginning of the season, they didn't play Ford at all, it seems like the HC and OC felt Ford didn't fit into the offensive system they wanted to play.

It could be with Calgary. Jarious Jackson landed there as quarterbacks coach and knows Ford pretty well.

When you make a move like releasing Ford it's automatic for any GM to pump the tires on the other depth QBs. It's a defense mechanism. Last thing they're going to do is say we cut last year's QB1 turned QB2 but don't have total confidence in the other guy.

This is my hunch… also as it relates to the Ford camp picking if one can say he gets a choice to “pick “ without leverage.

i can see they view Vernon and the situation there as a bit more “open “

i don’t foresee BC even though some say so, due to the Ford camp probably viewing well… Rourke… you aint gonna supplant Rourke.

Hamilton with their Dolegala and other signings and my assumption that he doesnt seem like a Milanovich type QB project anyway there’s probably not much interest on their end.

Maybe Ottawa is a good spot. Brown and their situation aint that locked in…

But again, its not just simple GM and asset interest , but the coaches should have a large say in how they view that fitment.

if i were Fords camp its time to just be very open about going in a QB situation to learn and not necessarily about where the path might be situationally the “easiest “

There’s no one out there that I really want all that much, other than resigning Kobe Williams.

Austin Mack was a great pickup. Mack, KJG, Victor, Hilaire, Calhoun are guys I like.

Would’ve been nice if Kramdi or Holm made it to free agency, or Johnson (WR) from Saskatchewan.

Looks like we are signing Carney. Hopefully he performs a little better than some of the other defensive line signings from last year. I’m guessing we will be in on Woodmansey as well.

Both good pick ups IMO. If Fajardo goes down Taylor should be able to go in there and give us a chance to win games.
