Not sure what to expect in this one with the Elks coming off the bye. Traditionally we get spanked in this one but this years team is different…

If we get off to a good start I could see us driving this one home.

Excited to see Robo and the return of Woodmansy.

I am happy they have returned..... I want to see Rankin used, stop Mills and wanna see how Powell RB does at returning and if he gets to run the ball.

Jesus we suck..... typcial bull**** Labor Day game... I knew I should have gone camping then watching this garbage.

Lets review:

OC is garbage... NEEDS TO BE FIRED ASAP> Typical predictable offense. No clue how to use RBs.. ( not like he gives a **** about them )
I'll be happy when we move on from Fajardo. telegraphing throws, over throwing almost every WR. Has cost us, single handily, 2 turn overs that resulted in point.
If it wasnt for to D we'd be down 20 plus.
Tons of holding on Calgary not called.
Did I mention Fajardo sucks. Has zero killer instinct. We where lucky as a leprechaun to win against Winnipeg. And a few other teams as well.
We aren't a top 3 team. We'll be outta first very very very soon.
On calgarys last TD, we get flagged when the Stamps receiver is holding us??? What bull**** is that
Also our FIRST first down in the second quarter came via a PENALTY... not by useless Fajardo.
Cody himself responsible for 14 Calgary points... 14!!!!

I'm getting ****ing tired of this team playing like **** in Labour Day games. you can tell they had the bye week.. you'd think the OC and HC would come up with some wrinkles on offense and fire the guys up... NOPE... comedy of errors.

I expect no half time adjustments and we lose by 30 - and score no more points. Not with this OC/QB combo. just garbage.


The good stuff... D over all.. if it wasn't for them - we'd be down by 20 plus at the half. They need to cover a bit better and contain adams.

And I have really liked Powell's return game... breath of fresh air... would like to see him on offense.. but ya know the OC doesn't give a **** about RBs. Once teams pay attention to Rankin he has no idea how to get him going again.. again the RB is probably very very very low on his list to fix.

My 3 Cents….
1. Robustelli needs to stay on. Brings something that we need. Big physical REC who catches, turns shoulders and gets up field. Was impressed for his 1st game and will only get more comfortable and better.
2. Powell provides more burst and energy than Leake. Again 1st game rookie and was a huge sparkplug. Got keep him in as see how he progresses.
3. Out D is the real deal. Gets better week in and week out. Our secondary and LB unit are top tier.
4. Killam and Fajardo reek of leadership. Both are the heartbeat of the team imho….
