Eskimos did it twice in 2004, 51-30 over Hamilton and then 57-16 over Ottawa about six weeks later.Originally posted by estayfan View PostWhen was the last time the EE scored 50+ points? All facets of the team played really well today. A bit concerning with both Rankin and Leake hurt. Big load on Powell returning kicks and being feature RB.Out of my mind; back in five minutes.

If he wants to play again next year, I can't see us letting him walkOriginally posted by bombervu View PostFajardo is making a lot of good throws. Two or three great plays at least. It would seem the investment in the O line is paying dividends.
5 teams including the Elks with their starting QB headed to free agency. My guess is Cody is going to get paid.

If management isn't already in talks, they should be talking to Fajardo about an extension if he wants to play. I thought he was older than he is but he's only 34 so I hope he'd like to come back. After 13 games, he's already surpassed his career high of TD passes. He's got 23 in 13 games and his previous career high was 18. With 5 games left, unless they stop playing him soon, adding another 10 is probably realistic. That's only 2 per game. He's at 3781 passing yards. His career high is 4302. So he looks poised to surpass that as well and hitting 5000 yards is a real possibly.
So I don't see how Edmonton doesn't resign him if he wants to play. It should be a priority IMO.Blindly accept whatever they do and if it doesn't work out, I guess there's always next year.

He's a great leader and is smart. He protects the football which might not be sexy but it's his mantra (I've heard him mention this a bunch of times during interviews) that this type of play results in wins and he's right. Read on the CFL website that according to PFF he didn't commit a single turnover worthy play. Another great game by Cody. Was a blast being at the game and high fiving fellow fans again. Usually there are a bunch of empty seats where Im sitting but not this last game.Originally posted by bombervu View PostFajardo is making a lot of good throws. Two or three great plays at least.
