Tough day in Edmonton sports radio and media. Long time sports radio host John Short passed away today at 86. Robin Brownlee, long time reporter and radio cohost passed away at the age of 65.

Lots of memories listening to these 2 men especially as a kid listening to John Short doing sports talk on CFRN.

Rest in peace to both gentlemen.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of us on this site have similar memories. Sports Talk with John Short was a large reason that I was turned on to sports in the first place. Robin Brownlee was also great to listen to. RIP and condolences to their families and friends.
