    2021 NCAA Football

For anyone who's watching college ball.

Games I'm paying (or have paid) attention to this week...

    - Vanderbilt vs. Georgia... Vandy getting absolutely mauled at home to the tune of 38-0 at the time of this post.

    - Southern Miss. vs. Alabama... The Rolling Tide had a scare against Florida last week; expecting them to come out with a vengeance today.

    - App State vs. Marshall... The Mountaineers win in an absolute thriller in Boone, just down the road from where I'm now based.

EDIT: 38-0 has now become 62-0.

Meanwhile, an absolute thriller going down in Raleigh. NC State and Clemson are locked in a killer OT battle. Both teams just traded TD's in OT and the game continues. 21-21 tie.

Was channel surfing today and caught a few minutes of the Quick Lane Bowl. The Nevada QB was 6'9 225. Funny seeing a QB looking down at his Oline players in the huddle.

The Football Scoop reporting that Georgia has made their Off/Cord the highest paid assistant coach in NCAA football. $2 million annually.

Probably makes less then some of their star players with the new Name, Image & Likeness rules.

Noticed Kurtis Rourke, little brother of Nathan , passed for 317 yds, 20 of 29 passes with 5 Td's & 1 int. Ran for 45 yds. as Ohio beat Buffalo 45-24. Believe he has two yrs of eligibility left following this season.

I've made some serious cash with that team this year.

With the NFL using Guardian Caps in practice since 2020 and the CFL now using them and over 200 NCAA teams also there is now another innovation. LSU is going to try an air conditioned helmet this coming season.

Called Cyclone lids from a company called Tigeraire. They have about 5 hours of operation and it's projected that there could be use by industry and military.

                        info from today's Football Scoop.
