Accross from Los Sabalos? Actually Sabalos had great food and we ate there all the time instead of our hotel. Don't take the all inclusive at the Playa because as you know you're in the heart of the Zona Dorada. The Playa was a nice hotel and our room was 100 feet from Joe's Oyster Bar with the volleyball court and ocean view in between. Couldn't ask for a better scenery for two weeks!I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stoodComment

we were right beside a great open air restaurant (trying to recall the name....somthing 'Bay')....standard authentic mexican cuisine....live mariachi band that serinaded us every night if we went out on the balcony. Was Los Sabalos the big white & Blue hotel on the beach? If it was then ya....right across the street....
IIRC they were turning the hotel we stayed in into timeshare condo units......the missus and I took an elevator ride to the top penthouse suites and saw the work they were doing.....looked like it was going to be very nice

Yeah, Los Sabalos is the big white Hotel. They also own Joe's Oyster Bar. I had a real good time at that place for two weeksI will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stoodComment
