Things in life come around full circle ?
Case in point:
I'm out with some friends tonight and an ex girlfriend shows up with some guy, who when she see's me she introduces him as a buddy. Anyway, I politely shake the guy's hand yadda-yadda-yadda, as she proceeds to tell me about her trip to mexico the week prior (her "buddy" didn't go to mexico) and we do some quick catching up etc...
Later in the night she grabs me to dance and while we're on the dance floor, her "buddy" get's pissed off, walks onto the floor and gives her the bird as he storms out!
She is genuinely confused and a little pissed off at that childish act and appologizes to me and goes after him to figure out what his problem is.
About half an hour later one of my friends let's me know that they are having a "discussion"
by the coat check as apparently he wants to leave and she wants to stay. Reminded me of the time that led to our break-up when she freaked on me for something while not similar, would be in the same category as "an over reaction to a minor event". I couldn't help but be completely amused at how life comes around full circle. While I felt bad for her in having to deal with a "friend" blowing his top ar her like a pre-pubescent juvenille, I couldn't help but wonder what her tone was now that the shoe was on the other foot? Looks like I'll find out tomorrow as I check my message on my cellphone left by her.
Life's little moments.....
