Poetic justice. He was found not guilty in criminal court, but due to the stupidity of the US justice system, they could still sue him for wrongful death in civil court. Now he gets the last laugh.

I just read "Outrage: The 5 Reasons OJ Simpson Got Away With Murder" by Vincent Bugliosi. Fascinating look at the trial and how completely inept everyone associated with it was, from the prosecution to the defense to the judge and jury. Bugliosi shoud have prosecuted the bastage...he would have got a conviction for sure.

I just read "Outrage: The 5 Reasons OJ Simpson Got Away With Murder" by Vincent Bugliosi. Fascinating look at the trial and how completely inept everyone associated with it was, from the prosecution to the defense to the judge and jury. Bugliosi shoud have prosecuted the bastage...he would have got a conviction for sure.

Oooooh... that just gave me a Christmas present idea for my mom! Her and my dad love books about true crime, and I remember my mom watched practically the whole trial on TV.

There were so many mistakes made in the trial. IIRC, wasn't it a speedy trial? That really hurt the prosecution.

OJ got away with two brutal murders, it disgusts me that he is going to cash in on it.

Actually it was one of the longest criminal trials ever. 9 months if memory serves.

I know it was a long trial.

But by 'speedy trial', I meant it was pushed to start right away. Because of that, the prosecution didn't have DNA evidence.

I trial was won the second the jury was picked. And the prosecution did fail by allowing those "retards" on the jury.

It was lost even before the jury was picked. The prosecution allowed a change of venue from the affluent area where the murders were committed to downtown LA. This decreased the percentage of educated white jurors in the pool and increased the percentage of poor black jurors. Race played a part in this trial before it ever got started.

And that is part of the reason the jury picks were such a failure. They found the dumbest people on the planet.

The justice system in both the U.S. and Canada requires a complete overhaul from top to bottom.

The cake-taker was probably yesterday in Winnipeg when two savage criminals, essentially the next Karla and Paul got off with a slap on the wrist for pre-meditated sex torture of teenagers.

How sick does this thing have to get before we do something? I am just totally fed up and disgusted with these people. Something has got to change but we as Canadians must make it happen

It's easy. A politician or Judge needs to get whacked while on the job to wake these f*****s up. If shots ring out on Parliament Hill, you'd see things change in about 48 hours
