Re: Now THIS is a Good Mother!!!
Heard about this on the radio this morning. IMO she is an idiot for not being able to hide the gift properly the first 100 times.
The son probably couldn't believe how lame she was at hiding the thing when he kept finding it. But he is still wrong for even looking for it and playing with it in the first place.

In my family, the fear factor of the belt was instilled at a very early age, where even the mention of it was enough to cease immediately any behavior that Ma & Pa didn't like. I was only 'taken to the woodshed' three times in my growing up. Can't even remember what it was I did to deserve it but I sure as hell know I haven't done them again!
I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

YEP... didn't get it often but when you did you sure didn't ask "what was that for".... just reinforced the point of "okay, I'm sure as hell not trying that again'!!undefined

What seems odd about this to me is that for some reason I can picture you now having a different sort reaction when someone raises a 'belt' to you...Originally posted by DieselIn my family, the fear factor of the belt was instilled at a very early age, where even the mention of it was enough to cease immediately any behavior that Ma & Pa didn't like.
