    Work Mischief

We have waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much fun at my job.
We're always playing practical jokes on another, jumping out from behind a corner at someone to scare the [censored] out of someone.
For the past week, there has been a couch and chair just off the side of the road across the street for some reason. Our boss, Stan, was looking out the window at it yesterday laughing about it. Dwayne made a joke that its Stan's new office furniture.

Well, Stan's away at meetings today, so we decided to give Stan some of that furniture today.

    well done

Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

I can top that, but it was done in retaliation to us. We are always involved in mischief in the military.

Anyway, one day someone in my squadron came up with the brainy idea of changing the sign on the squadron next door. From the flightline side they had a huge sign over the center of the hanger that said "441 Silver Foxes."

Late one night we changed the sign so it read "441 Silver Fags." That day they had a change of command parade (out on the flightline) and the hanger line was used as a backdrop for the squadron photo. We had done such a great job of replicating the old sign no one noticed the change, except the press and many of the dignitaries at the parade.

As payback, the buggers broke into our squadron; imagine that, breaking into a building that houses multi-million dollar jets? They did this on a long weekend. They emptied my COs office of all his furniture. The entire hallway, top floor flightline side of hanger, was filled with manure. A pig was added, after he was filled up with food, which included ex-lax. The pig was then sealed into the hallway, both ends were drywalled off. The only way into the top floor was by smashing the drywall open.

The pig had a field day; he was so thirsty he tore all the pipes out of the women’s bathroom and the entire top floor flooded. He crapped all over the floor and caused allot of damage.

I know animal rights groups won't like this. It wasn't my group that did the pig thing.

My boss’s furniture was left outside by the front guard-gate.

The next workday it was noticed and the other squadron wound up paying for the damages. The CO wound up in so much trouble he left the Armed Forces. It was too bad too as the person was an outstanding individual and he didn't have a hand in the incident.

As I mentioned, this stuff is common on the Armed Forces between units (perhaps not to this extent). But the rivalry is good for Esprit De Corps.

As part of their formal apology, what they gave to us was a pig-roast a few weeks later (sorry animal rights people, not all pigs live the life of Wilbur).

                Thought I'd drag this out.....

We have a running joke at my work about calling people gay. One day after lunch, Dwayne (one of my bosses) came walking back in the building. As he came walking past my desk and down the hall, I yelled, "Oh... Dwayne, your dad called!!" Dwayne stopped, turned around, and said, "My dad? Really?" He seemed kind of excited and started walking back towards me to get the message. I said, "Yeah, he said you're gay!" The look on his face was priceless and you could hear people in their offices laughing so hard.
So ever since then, we tell people their mom/dad called and said their gay. Yeah, seems lame, but its pretty funny.

Then today we decided to have a BBQ at lunch. We were all gathered downstairs eating and just going on with office inside jokes, about Maurice not having any balls, everyone being gay, all that good stuff. The phone rang and it was for me, so I got paged to line 1. Everyone yelled, "Its your mom... she says you're gay!" I picked up the phone, and it was my mom!! hahah

I asked her if she was feeling brave. So I asked her to do me a little favor. She agreed.

So my mom called right back on line 1 and I paged Dwayne to line 1. I went walking back to the BBQ where everyone was, except for Dwayne who had gone up to his office. I stopped in the middle of the circle everyone was standing in and announced, "My mom just called to tell Dwayne he's gay!!" People started laughing so hard they were crying... Jenn thought she was going to puke. From the shop where we were having the bbq, you can look at the inside window to Dwayne's office upstairs. He was in the window, setting off this toy I gave him that has a hand giving the middle finger, and its on a red spring thing, and then the spring is attached to a blue handle. When you press the button on the handle, the hand pops up higher, red lights flashing, and says "F--- YOU!! F--- YOU!!!"

My mom's such a good sport.
