I'm on the fence about it. Its definitely a departure from the classic look, but if the character is darker and more twisted than the Nicholson version it fits that the look follows suit. Either way its far better than the abomination that was the Green Goblin.

He's a decent actor. Remember everyone hated Keaton as Batman originally, and he was the best they ever had. I like the fact that they picked a surprising choice instead of going with a "villain" type actor (think Jeremy Irons, Willem Dafoe, Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman). As it stands I have NO idea what the Joker will be like, whereas if they cast any one of the guys I mentioned I would immediately know how the character was being done.

To me, Michael Keaton will always be Johnny Dangerously. Seeing him in a stiff batsuit where he couldn't turn his head just didn't work for me.
