    Simpsons Movie

Is anyone going to go watch it? I will but I'll wait a few days so I won't have to endure long lines.

      Re: Simpsons Movie

I'm a bit weary because of the previous attempts of TV shows trying to create a movie, but this one actually looks good. Simpsons had some bad years but they're getting better now.

Seeing some of the previews it looks kind of cheesy but of course I will still see it. Not at the expensive theatre though.

I'll go see it in a week or so. Not opening weekend. It will be a zoo.

no its not. Hopefully with the movie they'll kill off the series (crosses fingers) , which has been looooooong overdue.

The Simpsons are like SNL. They peter out for a bit, and then the writers come up with more gold.

It's been pretty good lately. I'll go watch this movie...but it MAY have to wait til it hits the cheap theatre. I'd go...but I don't know about the wife!

The Simpson's hasn't been worth watching since they jumped the Tanzarian shark.

Since then it's been a downward spiral of ridiculousness.

That's all we gotta do. This right here makes us stronger. Let's understand who we are as a team. Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.

The TV series has been garbage since about season 8. But I have a feeling that the movie is going to be something special.

So....it's garbage, and you keep watching it, which makes you a sadist.

In Season 8 it was garbage, so you stopped watching it, and haven't watched it since?

Naw, I watched seasons 8, 9 and part of 10. I gave up at that point. I check in every now and again to see if it's gotten better. It hasn't. Much like family Guy after they brought it back, it's now just forced.

It's getting better, but I'll agree that they're best stuff was some 10 years ago.

                            not me.

I will likely go see Stardust as soon as it comes out (Aug 10th). Great Neil Gaiman book, and he's given the movie his stamp of approval. We shall see!

                            - "Turf toe can often progress into a chronic problem..."
                            - "A mild instance of turf toe (grade 1) can be merely aggravating while a serious case (grade 3) can be debilitating."

Who were the writers for this movie?

The show was so well-written in its early days. Subtlely as well.
