    Cake making several stops in Canada on upcoming tour

    Maybe inspired by the success of The White Stripes' amazing true all-Canada tour, Cake is going to be hitting several spots in Canada. Full tour details aren't up yet, but there will be stops in Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton in the early part of the summer. We'll have to wait and see where and when they'll be playing as they head east.

            Great news! Cake is pretty much the only band still touring that I've never seen play live but would really love to.

            As for non-fans like Esks4whoever, why bother posting on this thread? When a band I dislike announces it's touring, I just say "Who cares?" to myself and move on. It's not as though my opinion is going to have any influence on whether or not fans of the band go see them anyway.

              I'll be at the Victoria show! Should be a great atmosphere, from all the ticket buyers I've been seeing (and the view looks to be pretty decent as well.. )

                Got my tickets for the Edmonton show. Its great to see bands that have never been to Edmonton come here.

                  I think Save-On makes the best cakes.....
