OK, admit it....what bands have you seen in Rextall

I mean the gaudy ones you'd admit to no one.

Recently the wife made me see Josh Groban and those three other dudes that sing the same stuff (I can't recall their names).

But after listening to the tunes at some of the Oiler games in the past week, I have to admit I have heard some of that stuff live.

On Saturday night they played some Bay City Roller music, I saw them with my sister.

I've also attended Men at Work and Loverboy concerts, all music played lately at Oiler games.

    Laugh away boys.

You should start a 'Who's Seen Yanni?' thread.

To make up for every WHA Oiler game and good concert (and there were lots) I saw for free as a teenaged St. John Ambulance attendant there was: the Bay City Rollers (twice!), The Ohio Players (playing brilliantly to maybe a thousand fans at the Coliseum), Roger Whitakker, Nana Moskouri, Anne Murray, Tom Jones, Vic Damone, Neil Sedaka, Charles Aznavour, etc., etc., etc.. Unfortunately no one ever overdosed or got trampled at the lame concerts (other than the Rollers) so there was nothing to do but stand there and watch the show.

Those are the "gaudy" ones that you are "afraid to admit to seeing"?

Let me qualify this by saying I was working...I had to cover a "New Kids on the Block" concert for one of our FM stations.

Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

Maybe we'll be able to see this guy at Nanookster's "Rextall" soon.

When you don't know that you don't know, it's a lot different than when you do know that you don't know.

I was there at the Colisteum when they turned the ampitheatres up real loud.
