    Royal Canadian Air Farce Ending

    http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/tv_air_farce_ending

TORONTO - CBC-TV's long-running comedy show, "The Royal Canadian Air Farce," is ending its 15-year run, a mutual decision between the show's producers and the network.

Producers Don Ferguson and Roger Abbott, who also star on the beloved sketch comedy series, have informed the cast and crew that there will be a truncated, 10-episode farewell season starting in the fall, with a final "Air Farce" farewell edition airing on New Year's Eve.
First RedGreen now Airfarce. To bad I always likes the show.

Once they expanded from the original 4 to the group taht they have now the writing was on the wall.

I still get a kick out "I'm mike from Canmore" with the stupid flames hat on. Hopefullty they bring back the original cast members for the final show.

Well Mike won't return as John Morgan passed away.

Well, if the show has to go out, it may as well go out with the Chicken Cannon. The show hasn't been the same since John Morgan passed away, but when it was on, it was funny as hell.

I always thought the show needed to be put out of it's misery long ago.

Their early years on TV were pretty good, and I grew up listening to them on the radio with Dave Broadfoot... so I was a fan, but I found they really lost their edge along the way.

It would be nice if Broadfoot came out for the finale... could never get enough Big Bobby Clobber!
Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

                My sentiments exactly.

I did not realize that John Morgan had passed away, I thought he had just retired. That was really to bad.

The Chicken Cannon and "A canadian momment" at Tim Hortons will always be my favorite part of the show.

The interesting thing is though that a show like that would not have lasted 2 weeks in the States as they would have offended someone.

He retired before he passed away. I remember watching the AirFarce tribute show. It was due to a heart attack in 2004.
