    Sports radio changes

I was late in noticing that Jason Gregor's Just a Game show changed times. I think it is a bad time 3 to 6 pm as I am forced to listen to CHED with Dan Tencer 8-11 now.

I figure that happened when some people left the Total Sports show which was from 3-5 before?

I hate listening to that ESPN radio, why is it even on the air here?

CFRN 1260 has said that they are evaluating the situation with respect to a local evening talk-radio show and that will be dependent on who they can find to host it.

I would think that they would want to have a local evening show once the NHL season starts, in order to compete with CHED and the Oiler broadcasts and post-game show, etc....

I don't like DT either and would much prefer to listen to someone like JG.

Cool, it's good that Team 1260 is re-evaluating the situation.

Yes, 8 to 12 am is prime time as most sports events are either going on or finished by 10 pm. This is the best time to talk about anything recent, not a dead time like 3pm.

I don't like DT as his shows are a bit of a shill and bias for the pro teams that are broadcast on that station.

Putting Gregor in Stauffer's spot was the BEST thing that 1260 has ever done.

Agreed, but now is the time for them to come up with a replacement for Gregor in the evening slot.....

I would have to think that there's some up and coming young broadcaster in the area who would be able to handle an opportunity like this. After all, Gregor was once new to the business, too.

Maybe its time for Diesel to start his broadcasting career.

I don't think half of what he'd say is legal in this country. 75% if it was going to be a Rider game.

Actually Jason said that he would do post games if they haven't come up with a new night show when the oilers games start.

I don't understand why they don't give Corey Graham a shot.

Today's Sun included that rumour (that Graham would get Gregor's old slot for his own evening show)

I'd be good at it, but they couldn't afford me.

Plus there would be a high likelyhood of me putting the program director in traction....
