Since I liked the ramblings thread, I decided to make a separate thread for ghost stuff.
Here are a few things that I can think of off the top of my head:
-When I was around 9 and the boy my parents babysat was 8, we were sitting in the basement playing transformers. At the same time, we both looked up and saw a figure watching us, then it moved into the laundry room. Kyle and I looked at each other and without saying a word ran upstairs as fast as we could.
-My brother was home alone in the basement, sitting on a bench going through his CDs. A popped kernel of popcorn suddenly hit him in the chest and hit the ground. He doesn't eat popcorn, so it wasn't a piece he had eaten earlier and was just stuck to his shirt or something.
-I was home alone, in the basement, and has a piece of popcorn hit me in the cheek.
-The bathroom tap will turn on full blast in the middle of the night, then turn off.
-My brother and his old girlfriend were sitting at the kitchen table, where they had sight down the hallway. The bathroom door is at the end of the hallway. The bathroom door suddenly shut. Water ran, then the door opened back up.
-My friend Jenn and I were sitting at the kitchen table one night when no one else was home, we were in grade 10 at the time. My parents bedroom door swung open, when I knew I had shut it early because their room was a mess and didn't want my friend to see it if she walked past it to use the bathroom. It kind of freaked us out, but we both thought it was the wind. I checked out all the windows- none were open. So I closed the door and sat back at the kitchen table. Door opened again, not just slightly, it SWUNG open. I checked it out again and closed the door again. It SWUNG open. So this time I locked the door (took the bedroom key with me) and closed it. Checked the handle to make sure it was locked and securely closed. Sat back down. It swung open. I went back to the door and the lock was unlocked. I can understand wind messing with doors, but there was no wind and how could wind UNLOCK a handle?
-My sister, her friend, and I were sitting in our living room. No one else was home because they were at my brother's high school grad. My sister's room was being redone at the time, so there was no flooring, just the plywood. We heard loud scratching coming from her room, like nails were scratching on it. We thought it was the dog or cat, but they were outside. We were freaked out, so like a dork, I grabbed my dreamcatcher before walking in there. Swear on my entire life, the second I walked into my sister's room, my dreamcatcher fell apart.
-Cupboards have swung open and slammed shut.
-Items have fallen off counters
-My sister was babysitting at the neighbors. The little girl had a Barney doll that you could pull the string to make it talk. The doll started talking when it was on the other side of the room. At that same house, the fridge door would swing open and slam shut.
-I'm friends with the next door neighbor's daughter. I was over there one day with two other friends. We were sitting in the basement just hanging out and my friend's back started to burn (the friend that lived there). She said it really hurt so I lifted up the back of her shirt and looked at her back. She had deep, dark red scratch marks down her back. They looked fresh as if someone had just dug deep nails all down Sarah's back.
-My brother was in bed on night and he suddenly felt a lot of pressure on his legs. He flipped on a lamp and looked at his feet. It looked like there was a dent in his blankets, right over his legs. He thought the leg pressure was a cramp so he stood up. He saw a big indent in the mattress where his legs were get deeper, then it slowly went back into place, then there was a dent, then know dent. No he was not drunk and my brother does NOT do drugs lol
-Radio stations would change. The station wouldn't just get messed up, you could literally watch the dial change stations.
-I was sitting in my basement with my brother. I was on one side of the room, he was on the other. He went upstairs to get food and he left the remote on the chair. I knew he had left it because I looked at it, contemplated getting my butt up to grab it, realized I was too lazy, so I stayed where I was. Then the TV shut off, I heard a girl giggle, I said "What the f---?", then the TV went back on. The cd player I was next to turned on, then off. I ran my arse upstairs and my brother refused to back down there when I told him why I ran up the stairs.
My mom told us of stuff that happened at the house before us kids were born, but my Dad always thought she was nuts. Then more stuff started happening and he started to believe her.
I could probably call my brother and get more stories from him. OH-- I just remembered him telling me a story of being in his room and electronics going funny, then that he hear a laugh when it happened. I said to him, "I heard a laugh before too! Like a young girl laugh." He said, "That's what I heard, but it wasn't really young like a kid-" I interrupted him and said, "Not a kid, but like a young teen!" And he agreed.
