Sh*t Happens would be an understatement....

I heard the babies wake up this morning, so I went into their room. They slept in the same crib last night (they like it).

Braxton somehow managed to get his pants and diaper off.

    POOP EVERYWHERE.

Except the little bugger managed to go back to his side of the crib- the clean side of the crib. He left his diaper on Isabella's side and there was a great big poop puddle that Isabella was laying face first in. Poor girl had poop covered face, arms, hands, clothes, it was even up her nose!

Needless to say, it was emergency bath time in Spec's house this morning.

Just like a guy, make a big mess and expect a woman to clean it up.

Welcome to parenthood. The stories I could tell. Has he peed on you yet when you're changing his diaper.

He's peed at me, but not on me. It hit the wall. lol Surprisingly, Isabella is the one that has gotten more height and distance. I don't know how.

Tip: Close your mouth when changing diapers. Don't say you weren't warned.

Hard to do when you have a kid that finds getting his diaper changed to be hilarious and laughs his head off the whole time. It makes me laugh.

Oh no.... That's never fun. Have you been doing the BRAT diet?

              Bananas
              Rice
              Applesauce
              Toast

yeah, pretty much anything white + pedialite & water (clear fluids). Momma even tried (on Dr. recommendation) some of that lactose free milk....

last night for the first time in a week, he really scarfed something down. Potato pancakes.......which came back up at about 11:30 (all over momma, himself, the bed, and the carpet in his room)....

Awww.... poor guy. Poor mom, too!
Potatoes were one of the few foods I could eat while I was pregnant without being sick, it settled my stomach for whatever reason.

Let me just say guys, if she gives you the choice of cleaning the kid or cleaning the crib...choose the kid. Much easier.

                      Opus...run. Run far far away.

That stomach bug is the most vicious thing I've seen in a long time. My niece caught it at daycare, gave it to my brother and sister in law, who gave it to my father in law, who gave it to my wife, who gave it to me on Sunday night. I was up all night spewing from both ends, it was the sickest I've been in 25 years (and I'm only 32). My 3 year old son is sick tonight with the same thing. I think it has an incubation period of 2 weeks, so be prepared.

Everyone in my house has seemed to have had it now since the weekend and recovery is now almost complete. Except me.....seems I was spared this time around.
