    Cell pic help??

Because I have a BB with Telus, friends can't send pics to me through text. I just end up getting a message saying to go to telusmobility.com/snap to view the pic.
I'm able to do that but it is SMALL. Barely able to make the picture out.

Does anyone know how to make the pictures bigger? There is a spot where it says to save the pics longer than 14 days, to add them to my album. But I can't even figure out where the heck to do that.

My friends are at the Dallas Stars charity casino night right now. They took a pic of one of them with Steve Ott and I can tell they're holding up a sign for me to read, but the pic is so small I can't see it.

I don't think the fact that you have a BB is the issue, more likely that your plan doesn't allow for pictures.

I have always been with Telus and never had an issue with texted pictures.

I was told when I first got a BB that Telus "doesn't do" texted pictures with Blackberry, but that other service providers do. Before I had a BB, I was able to text pics. Now I can only do it through BBM

Ya with a data device on Telus you aren't able to receive picture messages. The reason is because when someone sends a picture message it is sent via the "micro browser" on the phone, and because data devices have full fledged web they cannot retrieve the message instead you get the message directing you to the snap website. This is also the case occasionally if someone sends you a long text message with certain phones as well.
Unfortunately the snap site is garbage. A good portion of the time it tells you the message has expired, they don't save, and depending on the resolution of the persons camera on their phone that has sent the picture it comes out very small (granted that's not just the snap site that's anytime they try to enlarge the picture especially with the old .3 and 1.3 megapixal cameras)
I sold telus mobility and rogers wireless for 3 years just as data devices were getting popular, and heard on a regular basis about this issue. Unfortunatly now with data devices running the marketplace it seems telus has let the snap site really fade, I know first hand because I own a BB myself and still have a few friends with older basic phones that send me pics every once in a while and it just doesn't work well.

If you guys are all using BB's, try sending it on BBM, if you haven't already.

I was the only one with a BB. But luckily, I texted her my email so she emailed it to me right away. But the silly goofs involved with the pic sent me a full sized one (taken with an actual camera, not just phone) as well. Crisis averted. lol

BTW, it was a pic of my friend Karin grabbing Ott's rear and Ott holding a sign that said, "Yes Allison, This is your long distance butt grab." Classy hahah
