    phew... glad this thread is about location... thought the 'where you at' comment had something to do with life, goals, ambition, etc.

    At any rate... Born in Edm at the General... the original one! Grew up just west of the Prov Museum... (Jed, you're near Mac... and you go to Laurier Park... you pass right over my old playground - McKinnon Ravine! And my bro' lives in Crestwood!)

    Lived S of Campus when I was going to Uni - just W of 114th.

    Then lived near Millcreek Ravine for a couple of years... then in Strathearn! Bulgogi was one block one way, Red Ox Inn one block the other.

    Moved to ON 10.5 years ago... have been in Oakville for the past 1.5.
    Turf Toe:

              To be exact, I'm the Belle Rive area but only for another 5 months or so. I'll be moving to downtown (Railtown) in the fall. Should be great being able to walk to work and hang out at the Sidetrack and/or the OT bar all the time

                      The benefits of walking to work and the convenience of having Save-On and all those stores and restaurants in the area will hopefully outweigh the negatives. I don't plan on heading out all that often anyway so hopefully the bad elements won't affect me too much.

                        Well....I lived down ther for 5.5 years and It got pretty bad at the end there...Mind you we were managing a building so I think we saw more then most people...

                          No doubt that forced you to see much more than what an average resident would see. I don't doubt it got ugly at times.

                          If you don't mind me asking, what building did you manage? I'll be moving into the apartment building behind the Wendy's & Tim Horton's outlet on 104th ave.

                            We managed one along 107th.....Perhaps a bit more crap goes on there but you still would get some spillage over to 104th...
