Movember!

So Movember is here again...(I know it's been going on over a week already) and I was curious if anyone else is doing it this year?
I shaved my beard & stash off on the 1st for the event and then in a tired haze...shaved the stash off again on the 4th so I've only got a week's worth of Mo going right now. Still better than any of the other guys in the office! Anyways, if you're in it give your team a shout out and help raise awareness for a worthy cause.

My goal is to not shave it/trim it at all for the whole month...with the amount of grey in it these days it should look something like The Stranger's in Big Lebowski...

yeah i'm on the mo site too well my team is we're diversity an old wooden ship....my wife hates it and can't wait til dec 1st

The TW hates the Mo, but loves the beard...so she's not really thrilled about this time of year.

First time I have ever grown a Mo and the wife is not a fan either. But it's for a good cause and my team has raised some money so far.
Will do this again next year for sure!

I really like the fact that people are on board with Movember...but...is is still JUST about prostate cancer?

I would really like to see them expand to other, much more deadly cancers, like colon or pancreatic cancer.

I think it's mainly geared towards prostate and testicular cancer, but they are raising awareness for all men's health.

It took a few years for the Pink Ribbons to be about more than just breast cancer...but I agree; it should be about cancer in general - not specific ones. They're all a danger to anyone and everyone.

TW hates it... but accepted it in favour of full beard ...
well truth is, when she asked if I was doing Movember again (4th year) I said I was going to let my beard grow instead.
She said "No you aren't." No smile. Wasn't even a question.
