We should treat every event like ski-jumping, just be happy when we win and don't say anything if we don't. In this case, I say some compaining is allowed because our team played with no heart and not to their potential, but we don't need to disect it and start 5 threads about it.

And consider Slovakia...5 - 0 pre medal round and they lost to the Czechs.

Look at the rosters again, Muley, and tell me that we lost to a "better" team. Sure, I'd agree they played better. But that's cause they weren't just dragging the sorry asses around the ice hoping this would all be over and they could go back to their million dollar mansions and get a few days off.

I'm extremely disappointed in the men's team. 3 games without a goal when you have the supposed best NHL guys on your team. That's unacceptable. I don't care if I sound like I'm complaining. They were complete crap. Was Ryan Smyth even on the team? Sad really.

Yup, tough lessons learned from a tough loss. More questions than answers right now, but you know that this is not the last we'll hear about the whole Team Canada scenario, from Gretzky down. Too much money, too many penalties, too many mistakes and missed opportunities, and too many questions. Gives the media too much to talk about. Holy crap, bring on the CFL '06 training camp, already!
