No sir, I'm not going to panic

In a world where one could get shot for just looking at someone the wrong way, everyone is on edge, everyone seems to be in a pissed off, i'm going to kill you mood, and it seems everyone will try to find any little reason to vent their anger and frustration. This isn't really noticable on this site, but is on others. We are all die hard Green and Gold fans - we bleed green and gold, and when things go well , we are all gooey and warm inside, and praising the warriors of the field. But when things go wrong we turn the other cheek and nit pick of whats wrong. This disturbes me. I know we have a right to do this, but I dont think its healty. ( i'm not picking on any of you fellow posters, Its all within your right to do so, but i wont be )

We are 3 -5. Only BC is +500 right now. We are far from out of the race. The real season starts Labour day and the return match. I consider the first half of the season our Preseason. The D will be as dominant as it was last year, our offense will strike fear in the opposition. And People will fear coming into CW.

As of right now I will no longer bitch, complain , belittle, or critize any aspect the Esks.....I am allways going to be positve about any situation... I am going to be a fan like i was 4 years ago... cheering no matter whats happening on the field.. we could go 0 18 and i would be cheering just as hard as I would if we where 18 -0.

Gotta believe... and this negative energy isn't good.

        No problem...I jumped the gun.

What you say is interesting, E4E, but I don't really see evidence of it on this board. I don't percieve any of our posters as being passionate and angry, like you see on other sites, especially the ones like TSN and CFL Fan Huddle where they make foolish comments. The vast majority of the discussion on here is level-headed, intelligent and analytical. Occassionally, there is the odd outburst or rant, but that is expected and excusable, since it demonstrates our love for the team and the game.

Personally, I'm not panicking, especially since there's a long way to go in the season. We had a rather mediocre start last year as well, but we need to wait a little bit longer before panicking. There are definitely some issues that need to be addressed, such as discipline and the backup QB situation, but every team has its problems. Ours pale in comparison to situations like Calgary, for example. I have faith in the organization to do whatever it takes to continue our winning ways.

I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

Losses will happen, that is a certainty........do I have to like it? UH, NO!......I may rant for awhile, but I always try and remain optomistic.....I'm behind the Green & Gold, and I think its safe to say that this team has underachieved so far this year......will they continue to do so? I sure hope not. I have faith in the vets on this team to get everyone in the same frame of mind. I say this because I'm a veteran fan, and I don't like losing, I expect that they feel the same way and are even more pissed when they lose.......if there are some guys who don't care when we lose maybe they're on the wrong team......The Eskimos are synonomis with Championship calibre football, and every player on our roster has that potential to be Champions. We as fans must support them in that endeavor, and hope that they play to their abilities.
