    Oljase deflowered!

    LOL! So Oljase and myself went to see my fav band in the whole wide world, King's X tonight at the KingsKnight Pub. It was Oljase's first time seeing the band, being a KX virgin, and I can safely say that they have a new big fan drinking their Kool Aid. What an amazing performance by the best kept secret in music. Long Live The King!

    For those who passed, you are missing something truly special in this band.

          Couldn't go. Nephew's 1st birthday and all. By the way, oljase got "de-flowerred" in 1986.

              I think he was "born again" last night. If I remember correctly, his quote after their jaw dropping set was, " Wow, I'd pay to see them play on a street corner!"

              Ty was on fire last night, Dug was singing like a manic baptist preacher, and Jerry was simply amazing.

                    anyone else find it funny that above Diesel's head the banner reads "it starts here" complete with an arrow pointing down ?

                            I took the picture and I didn't even see that!

                            It was a fantastic show. I will be much more familiar with their tunes next time they're in town. Long live the King!

                              It was a fantastic show.
                              That it was, when Dug and Ty hopped onto the edge of the stage and began ripping into Moanjam mere inches from me it gave me chills.
