Following five years in the NFL and half a season with the Montreal Alouettes in 2006, Canadian quarterback Jesse Palmer has announced his retirement from pro football effective immediately.
Apperently NFL Network is more important than being the only Non-Import Quarterback in the CFL.

I was just making fun of- I mean talking about him the other night.

My first thought when seeing the title of this thread was, "He was actually playing?? I thought you had to be doing something to retire from it!!!"

Won a couple games as a starter with the Giants probably two years ago, but he`s never really impressed me from what I`ve seen of him.

It's too bad he did'nt play in at least one game now and for the rest of eternity we are going to hear about how good he should have been.

Just wondering out loud here...but doesn't this indicate a person who really doesn't have much true love of the game? Who else would want to retire early to sit in a studio?
