B.C. -- No Longer Undefeated

Well, the Lions ran out of magic / didn't pay the refs enough. Down to their 3rd string QB, the Riders took full advantage of the situation and handed B.C. their first loss of the season.

The game started out slower than a special needs class, with the score tied 1 - 1 midway through the second quarter when all of a sudden three quick TD strikes materialized. Sask scored first but that was quickly followed up by a BC major. The proverbial straw to break the camel's back, IMO, occurred whn Sask. scored another TD right at the end of the half.

Sask didn't look back, crusing to a 21 - 9 win.


With that, the Riders have two very solid wins under their belts in a row. Wonder if its too late for this to come (back) out?

The Riders may not win the Grey Cup (although part of me wishes they would so that their fans would shaddup...and cuz my friend Ol'Jase quite frankly deserves it), but they are a good football team.

Meh, with the situation BC was in I expected the Riders to win a bit more easier then they did. With that performance last night I'm not too worried about the Riders. Let them run around thinking they are the gods of football.

IIRC, the Riders have had a tough time in B.C. the past few seasons. That win should excise a few demons for them.

As opposed to who? The team they smacked around the week before?

Riders/Esks always play each other tough no matter if they are neck in neck in the standings or at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Actually the past couple of season we have had pretty good luck against BC (in the regular season) in BC place.

actually according to the commentators they've won the last 4 outta 5 in BC. And last season Riders where the first team to beat them as well.. Riders play well there
