But I actually just saw the Riders Grey Cup record on TSN, 2 of 13. They've been in the dance before, but couldn't win it when it mattered. Thankfully we're in the now so I don't see much point in putting stock into what happen 70, 40, even 10 years ago.

The Riders were cursed by piss poor management (at least during my lifetime) and an apathetic fan based that accepted losing as inevitable.

Roy and Danny fixed one, hopefully Austin and Tillman have fixed the other.

The reason the Riders have only won 2 cups: Bad management, and fans that put up with it too much. Let's hope that Eskimos fans don't follow the same pattern.

Even a few Rider players were having a hard time taking credit for the win.

All Winnipeg needed was 5 minutes with their QB at the controls.

3 Grey Cups in 95 years can't possibly be all blamed on bad management. There were years they just down right sucked.
