You should put "York Reports" in the title so I don't get my hopes up like that again!

Assuming it is true..... $140,000 seems a little steep for a linebacker, but if someone else offers that much I'd like to see the Esks match or beat it, but if it gets much beyond that I'd say to hell with it.

this is another Marty story.....he could have just as easily wrote the exact same story about Swerve, Grace, Copeland, or Burris.....none of them have signed yet and looks more and more each day that they plan to see what the interest is.....

I don't know...I'll believe this when I see it. Toronto wouldn't be smart to give Eiben up, IMO, but if they do......I don't believe anyone is currently wearing #35 in green and gold.

No wonder Avery was asked to take a huge salary cut. Is Arland Bruce still there or did he head to the NFL for one more shot? The Argos will have to let some people go me thinks if they want to sign Eiben. If he went from 35 G to even 95,000 G that is a a 10,000 a year raise for 6 players or a big pay cut for a couple of players.
