    Re: Printers offered 1-Million dollars!

Printers' agent Jason Medlock told the Team 1040 that the Lions offered a three-year contract worth $1 million, but he was looking for the deal to be worth $1.4 over the three-year duration - which would make Printers the highest paid player in the league.

Well at least they updated it...

1.4mil over 3 seasons... 466k/season. or the 1mill for 3 years 333k/season. how much is DD making ?

Good news, in another five minutes BC will be out of cash.

        Re: Printers offered 1-Million dollars!

I knew this would happen. I do think Printers is a better qb than Burris and since our stupid friends to the south set the bar so high with Hank....this is the result. Thanks Calgary. Now the rest of the league is paying for your stupidity and desperation. BC is now poised to be paying around 750,000 per year just for quarterbacks. Where's all the yapping about those high spending Eskimo's now? BC should be forced to send one of those guys to Ottawa. I mean, Hamilton and Ottawa are going to be whipping boys for the Argo's and Als to get guaranteed points off of while the West beats the snot out of each other. BC is now very deep. They are deep at Quarterback, deeply in debt, and since they think a "crowd" of 25,000 is a big deal...they are also deep in _ _ it!!!

I think the idea is that they keep em both for the run to their own cup this year.....what I wonder is how they'll keep em both happy....???

I can't see them both being happy...I thought printers would have bolted for the NFL after getting shafted in the Grey Cup game...

I think they'll entertain offers for DD, but I as well think they'll keep both of them for their run to the cup... thats a lot of money just for 2 players....

With Dave habit of getting nicked all the time, they may need them both! Hate to see them win at home though. I spent two long years out there going to Simon Fraser (insert dope smokin' leftist hippies) and some of those folks really don't deserve the team they had last year!!
That said, Printers has been a pretty class act since getting pushed into the limelight so for his sake a ring would be a well deserved achievement! But those hippies....man!!
