You would think Toronto would be all over that guy if he was available.
I think Toronto has tried to get him in the past and there was a point where Adrian made a stink in the press about being behind Calvillo all these years. Nothing ever came of it but I would have to think some team would be interested in him.

I'd neither be surprised if AC came back next year or retired but lean to the latter. I don't think he was ever motivated by records. However with all the passing records in the bank there is nothing more for him to accomplish in his HOF career. He has taken some licks this year. When questioned about returning so quickly after receiving a slight concussion early in the season he stated (paraphrasing) "I'm 39 years old. I not going to risk anything at this point". I'm sure with the health issues both he and his wife have endured in the past few years nobody knows better than AC that there are significantly more important things in life than football. He has absolutely nothing more to prove on the field so why put himself through the physical abuse of yet one more year at 40. If I was a betting man I'd wager on on Calvillo retiring after this season.

Ottawa isn't getting their team until 2014 at earliest. I can't see AC hanging around another 3 seasons, so it's a moot point about who will take McPherson in the expansion

Could be, Cameron played until 48 (coincidently, he and Passaglia were born only about a month apart. While Cameron played two years later into life, Passaglia broke into the league four years earlier).
Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

I think we should enjoy watching both of them play for as long as they can without injury forcing them out. I won't see another like AC and I don't think you will for muchos years.

I would be surprised to see AC play beyond this year. He has nothing to prove, but it might also be a case of prying the ball from his cold dead hands. IT is s tricky thing to know when to retire as a great player. You want to go out before you are forced out so going out on a high is good (John Elway), a player could stick around a couple of seasons to long and do some damage to what is a great carear (Bret Farve). EIther way I think both of these guys are HOF bound when they are eligible.

McCallum and AC will be around for a few more years, I say McCallum will come close to the Bob Cameron age record, AC plays until about 42 in my mind.

I don't see why AC would hang em up until he sees some writing on the wall that he can no longer compete for a championship.
