Live in Saskatchewan? All your games blacked out?

I learned something today about the blacked out games here in Saskatchewan. Apparently the blackout policies DO NOT apply to TSN HDTV. So if you are living in Regina and would like to see the local football game, just sign up for the above channel. Most cable providers sell the HDTV package for an additional $10/month.

I am not sure if the above works in other cities or not.

Interesting that it was the Riders who moaned and bitched for a salary cap, and since a cap was put in place for them, they only years they've won they broke the salary cap rules.

Meh... I don't care that much
Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

i dont really care that much either....and since the game was blacked out, they showed an old 1989 game from ESPN Classic, it was only the Riders and Lions, but pretty sweet, got to see Glen Suitor play

10 bones a month plus a HD Capable TV, which could trim down the wallet real quick.
I told those f***s down at the league office a thousand times that I don't roll on Shabbos!

HD televisions are not cheap, expesially if you're going to get a TV in 1080i or 1080p resolution... I paid over 8000.00 dollars for a 52" Plasma 1080p TV last month.

Is it true plasma TV's only have a max life of 7 years?

The bulbs have a life span of about 4-5 years in the newer plasma's.. the TV's are good as long as the bulbs are changed... no burn-in with images anymore either.

If anything though, I reccommend getting a LCD projection if you're going to go with an HDTV, close in overall quality to Plasma TV's.. and Sony is dishing out some good ones right now, at a pretty reasonable cost.

I believe plasma TVs have a life of around 60,000 hours, so if you ran it 24/7 then it comes out to close to 7 years. Obviously it'll last a bit longer if you don't watch TV all day
I thought I wanted a career; turns out I just wanted paychecks.
