Re: Argos - Brutal
If you're talking run D, I think it is a little of both. The Riders dominated the lines tonight. Even if your not a Rider fan, you have to be happy for Corey Holmes. His life (along with a lot of other CFL players) has been turned upside down in the past month and it is nice to see him shine. Good luck to you guys tomorrow (I know I should be cheering for BC based on the standings, but I've never believed in that philosophy. If we win out, we'll still get second place (hey, a guy can dream)).Originally posted by esks4lifeThey were at 223 with under a minute to go. Either Toronto's D is real bad or the Esks D is really good.
Time to celebrate. It's gonna be legen... wait for it, and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of the word is ...dary....

Blame the O-line for that. Allen really had a tough time getting any timing down. Also, three cheers for fellow Moose Javian Scott Schultz. He played a whale of a game, although that was a stupid roughing the passer penalty he took at the end. And yes, he deserved it.Originally posted by RivalDamon Allen showed tonight that the end is very near. The guy looked flat out awful. It's gonna be legen... wait for it, and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of the word is ...dary....

Re: Argos - Brutal
The line played decent but that pass that was intercepted by Davis in the endzone was brutal. Allen was bad tonight. Also the stuff on the one... Gramps had no chance getting that in.Originally posted by 5goridersgo5Blame the O-line for that. Allen really had a tough time getting any timing down. Re: Argos - Brutal
By no means is he is the best player on the defense, but tonight, he was really pushing the pocket back and not allowing Allen to step up for his throws. Earlier in the year, he was getting owned an a frequent basis. As you said, Davis drew a lot of double teams that would allow Scott to make plays. But lately, he has been pulling his weight and is good to see, at least for this fan.Originally posted by esks4lifeI cant stand Scott Schultz. I dont think hes anything to write home about. The players around him make him stand out. The announcers say it all the time. The double teaming of Davis frees Schultz up.It's gonna be legen... wait for it, and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of the word is ...dary....

As he started the drive from the 10 yard line I said it was going to end with an INT in the endzone.Originally posted by RivalDamon Allen showed tonight that the end is very near. The guy looked flat out awful.
Damen is hot and cold. I still think he has another year in that body.Placing the Alberta Flag on the Calgary Flames uniform is akin to putting lipstick on a Pig

Before he retires or expires? j/k. As long as he wants to play, some team will pick him up.Originally posted by NanooksterI still think he has another year in that body. It's gonna be legen... wait for it, and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of the word is ...dary....

Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.
