Tom Wright ... making his moves

Wright has given indications that he is making his early moves ... maybe even on the salary cap!

"CFL will announce next week that it has hired Michael Copeland as it new COO to oversee football operations and costs, legal affairs and administration."

Probably more significant is the guy he dumped ... long time CFL Exec ... Ed Chalupka

Chalupka was heavily criticized by one of my faves (Marty York) in the past.

Good signs .... Wright is serious

That's a shrewd move by the Commish. Any previous commish or acting commish that tried championing a salary cap quickly became league roadkill. Always better to let some other guy step in front of that train.
