    Re: Lions/Riders Game

Holy ****, Riders fluke out one win, and all of a sudden the trolls are out proclaiming this is THE year (really, honestly this time!)

Riders aren't a good team - Joseph is Nealon Greene v.$450K and the only thing their Defensive Tackles scare is a Buffet table.

Looks like the Riders will make the playoffs this year, but I think they will get spanked in the semi-final.

Maybe Kenton Keith should go do something else illegal and get his degenerate ass tossed into jail the day before the semi so the Riders can "win one for Kenton" like they always seem to do after one of their criminals gets busted.

Fellow Rider fans, listen to me and pay attention.

Shut up. It is September, and nothing has been won.

Yeah the Riders win today was a real fluke, BC has first crack at the endzone in OT, and they decide to punt, we get our chance and Fantuz makes a great catch for a TD....Even I can acknowledge another team's win and give them kudos where kudos is due, its obvious KF you cannot, and that's fine with me......

Did you even bother to read my messages in this thread? Where did I proclaim this as "the year for the Riders?" Please feel free to quote me, I beg you..........I was originally responding to the Esks current situation and people perceive my comments to proclaiming the Riders 2006 Grey Cup Champions. Wow........

Good game by both teams and someone had to win. Exciting finish and I expect a great game between the Esks and Riders on Saturday. Nothing like a night game at Taylor Field.....should be a dandy!!!

So nervous about this game. We never win at TF.

Riders got a major fortunate breaks (ie. Wally), but to say it was all a fluke isn't right. The Riders held Dickenson to LESS than 100 yards passing in the game. Geroy didn't do much of anything either. I call that great defence.

Turnovers killed the Riders in the first half. Riders domination of the Lions continues. Lions have lost 4 games this year, 3 of them courtesy of the Riders.

If it wasn't for the turnovers, the Riders easily win in Regulation IMO.

Exactly. And one of them should have been challenged by Danny.

But, whatever, both teams tried to give it away, but a win is a win is a win. And that's now 3 of 4 against the best team in the league.

Whats up Pot? Meet my good pal Kettle. Now that you've met maybe you'll crawl back into the hole you came from (Hint: Calgary)

Wasnt this the same guy who said before the playoffs last year that the Oilers were no better than an AHL team?

Dont get me wrong, I think we were lucky to win that one, and have great distaste for trolling by any teams fans, but to come over here and pretend the Stamps have never been lucky to win, and that you and other Stamps fans dont troll is a little bit ridiculous to me.

Interesting that it was the Riders who moaned and bitched for a salary cap, and since a cap was put in place for them, they only years they've won they broke the salary cap rules.
