    its being reported he is earning 10,000 per game... Question Who is this guy ?

    NFL cut, played for Houston I think.

      I believe he had a stint in the CFL before aswell.

        Former Rider, went to the NFL for the past three seasons.......got cut this last year from the Texans......

          Very good receiver that is expected to take over the Milt Stegall role, once Milt retires. Bombers have the money to spare this season with the GC, and a neeed to keep the fans happy, this signing basically steals a top player from the Riders, so with the Bombers in the East that isn't so bad.

            What do they have to worry anyway? Aside from the GC cash, next year they'll likely get another 700K for moving back to the west when Ottawa comes back

                In Saturday's Winnipeg Sun it was mentioned that the Bombers had outbid Sask. and Edmonton for Armstrong. With Stegall out for a month Armstrong will likely become the go to receiver.

                  Didn't he only sign a year plus an option? i.e. isn't he going to be trying to go back to the NFL next season?

                      Armstrong is amazing. Winnipeg is clearly paying him very well to be there. Can someone confirm his contract status? Cause he strikes me as a guy that still has staying power in the NFL.

                        Winnipeg apparently offered him a one-year, pro-rated contract for $150,000 ($10,000 per game) and $180,000 in his option year, which includes a preseason payment of $75,000 that won't count against next year's salary cap.
