LATE HITS: The Esks are making three lineup changes for tomorrow's game. Rookies Patrick Kabongo and Maha Atogwe and veteran defensive back Quincy Coleman come off the active roster. Non-imports Randy Spencer and Sheldon Benoit draw in for Kabongo and Atogwe, while Darrel Crutchfield takes Coleman's spot on the active roster.

Hmmmm, once again I kind of shake my head at the way we shuffle things around. Unless Coleman is injured we don't have what I would call an experienced saftey. Marsh has played there a bit but....

Esks are taking it a little light in the defensive backfield, it seems to me....guess they really wanna stop the run....makes sense.

I can see them wanting to get crutch back in there as size wise he matches up well with the riders recievers.

We better not have a freebie td breakdown back there with two guys looking at each other saying 'I thought you had him.' I like Crutch alot and am glad he is back in but I also like Coleman. Oh well time will tell I suppose. One thing is certain, the Esk coaches like Marsh alot and that is a good thing.

Haven't seen much of him this year....but I have liked what I've seen.

Yes, yes it is. Crutchfield is probably my least favorite player on the team since Fabian Burke got fired.

I am convinced that Crutchfield came back too soon from his knee injury, he got toasted good in the Ottowa home game but he's been a good player in the past.

I like the idea of having Crutch back; as Beerfish said, he is experienced and he's played well in the past. I'm not all that impressed with Marsh, though. I think that he should be the one sitting rather than Coleman. Also, what about the possibility of moving Grant back to safety and putting Young in at LB? Grant can be a ball hawk, which is especially important considering Burris' tendency to overthrow receivers.

Ya there was a piece on Sports night on Friday night and yes Marsh moves to safety. Little surpriseing...Marsh has played wel though. That knee of Crutchfields better be healed if they are sitting Quincy.
